  • Justin Rogers, President & CEO, Greater Jamaica Development Corporation;

  • Michael Gliner, Co-Owner, PIP Printing & Marketing Services of Inwood,

  • Rachelle Antoine, Manager of External Affairs, JFK Redevelopment Program

  • Akshar Patel, Manager of External Affairs, JFK Redevelopment Program.

  • Dr. Susan Tanenbaum , Director of Nonprofit Opportunities, Office of the Queens Borough President

The event is RDRC’s only fundraiser to support our youth programs and services that provide deserving but underserved youth with afterschool tutoring, employment, internships, mentorship, trips, college placement assistance and scholarships.

Many of the youth participants we serve are families who cannot afford to pay for the extra academic supports, travel related expenses to attend college fairs, college tours, museums or cultural centers of learning that help shape their educational and career pathways. This years’ event will be hosted by the dynamic, Emmy award winning QPTV host & producer, Roslyn “Roz” Nieves, so you know the event will be high energy!

NYC Votes We Power NYC Ambassadors - Nathaniel Valdivieso

NYC Votes

A quick interview with We Power NYC Ambassador Nathaniel Valdivieso.

From NYC Votes:
We Power NYC is an initiative by young people, for young people. The We Power NYC Ambassador Program is for New Yorkers aged 14-24 who are committed to increasing youth engagement in local elections.

Ambassadors become voting experts by participating in weekly meetings, engaging with local history, hosting Voter Mobilization events in their communities, and sharing critical non-partisan information on their social media.

You deserve a say in how things are run. So make your voice heard!
