QPTV WINS AT THE 2020 HOMETOWN MEDIA AWARDS! QPTV received six 2020 Hometown Media Awards from the Alliance for Community Media Foundation. The awards program was established to honor and promote community media and local cable programs that are distributed on Public, Educational and Governmental (PEG) access cable television channels.

July marked the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing, and to help celebrate, NYSCI is presenting an exhibition: Imaging Women in the Space Age, curated by Dr. Julie Wosk, Professor Emerita at SUNY Maritime College and author of Women and the Machine. The exhibit runs from July 13, 2019 – March 29, 2020.
