Faces of Queens

Abu Tarik is a Yemeni Palestinian first generation American. When he first came to America he was working in a Bodega then he realized a problem with the rules. He then founded a Yemeni American Organization in NYC and started the bodega strike all across the United States. He later on started working in the ATM Business, and realized that the Yemeni community needed a Unity in NYC. He opened a office space for the community. He later on on 2024 started his very true passion, Coffee Shop giving the authentic experience of Yemeni and Palestine. With a modern twist to it. MOKAFÉ, a name that finds its origin in the ancient coffee trading port in Yemen "Mokha" and one of the most famous coffee-based drinks, Mocha - MOKAFÉ is a specialty coffee experience rooted in the values of sustainable farming, traceability of coffee beans, single-origin freshly roasted coffee and sourced from smaller farms to create the perfect coffee moment for you!At MOKAFÉ, we've revolutionized coffee into a symbol of art, culture, and pure passion.
