Victoria Schneps started this tradition over 17 years ago. She created the Power Women in Business Event to recognize the best and brightest women for the work that they do in business and their communities. The women are from diverse backgrounds and gather together to network and honor each other. The backdrop for this event is at Terrace on the Park with a cocktail hour for honorees and their guests. It’s followed by a business expo, dinner and an awards ceremony where each honoree walks down the red carpet and receives a Vicki. Queens Public Television’s
President/CEO Daniel J. Leone escorted the women down the red carpet.
