QPTV & Queensborough Performing Arts Center Present: Louis Prima, Jr.   Accompanied by his band and Sarah Spiegel, Louis Prima, Jr. returns to Queensborough Performing Arts Center once again for an encore performance of his father’s music. In this special event, Louis Prima, Jr. shares many of his experiences he had with his father, Louis Prima, Sr., and the origins of Prima, Sr.’s music.   Louis Prima, Sr. is considered one of the most renowned swing performers in history. He was known as the original “King of Swing” during the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. Following in his father’s footsteps, Louis Prima, Jr. brings his father’s upbeat music back to the stage. The show also featured Sarah Spiegel, a singer and actress from Belmar, N.J. Together, Sarah Spiegel and Louis Prima, Jr. sing several of Prima, Sr.’s hits including “Buona Sera” and “Just a Gigolo.” Prima, Jr.’s band, called “The Witnesses,” supported his performance, while displaying their individual skills.   Tune in to QPTV to watch Louis Prima, Jr.’s performance.
