Oswald Williams: ACM Award Winner 2023

QPTV is proud to announce that QPTV Producer, Oswald Williams, has once again taken top honors in the 2023 Hometown Video Festival competition.

Oswald won in the category Best of Experimental Independent Producer for his program Asencion produced as an episode of My Block T.V. Mr. Williams and Gregory Roessler produced the program.

As a community producer, Mr. Williams writes about “ordinary characters dealing with real life. We all come from different circumstances but we can’t let those circumstances define us.”

Mr. Williams said that coming to QPTV was the best second phase of his life. The first phase was to receive validation for his creative vision and abilities, which he certainly has achieved.

Mr. Williams’ next project will deal with the subject of stereotypes.
