In an Election Night filled with historic "firsts" Queens Public Television provided Live Election coverage for the first time in its history. The landmark program was hosted by Victoria Schneps-Yunis publisher and editor of the Queens Courier. The program was fostered by QPTV's Board of Directors and brought to fruition by QPTV's Executive Director, Daniel Leone.
Almost imperceptible to the human eye, in the epitaph of every human, is the small dash that separates the year of our birth from the year of our death. The writer Linda Ellis has written a beautiful poem that eloquently speaks of "The Dash In-Between." It is there that we live, it is there that our legacy lies. Our success & happiness, sorrow & discontent, our beliefs and our doubts are all represented by that short horizontal bar.
